Opening Days & Times - 26th March to 1st November 2026
Please see below for an explanation of our opening days and times. Please check the type of day you are visiting carefully.
Train Running Timetable
During Term Times
- Mon - Sun: 10:30am - 5:00pm
Mondays & Tuesdays: These are Green Days and allow entry to the Museum and Gardens ONLY. No Trains or Gallopers are running.
Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: These are Blue Days and feature a Diesel Train Service and Gallopers ONLY. No Steam Trains will operate on these days.
Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays: These are Orange Days and feature a Steam Train Service and Gallopers. We will try and run as many Steam Services as possible on these days, although some lines may still operate a Diesel Service.
During the School Holidays
